- To outer senses there is peace,
- A dreamy peace on either hand,
- Deep silence in the shadowy land,
- Deep silence where the shadows cease.
- Save for a cry that echoes shrill
- From some lone bird disconsolate;
- A corncrake calling to its mate;
- The answer from the misty hill.
- And suddenly the moon withdraws
- Her sickle from the lightening skies,
- And to her sombre cavern flies,
- Wrapped in a veil of yellow gauze.

Beautiful!: both the poem and the hibiscus!
Tell me: how did you get turned on to Oscar Wilde?
Kram!
Vackert men lite för "djupt" för min smak =/
Happy Valentine till dig med!
Kram Mamsen
Well, that Oscar man has kind of sneaked his way into my life bit by bit ;) He just seem to have been such an interesting person whom (if he'd been alive today of course) I very much had wished to know. The more I learn about his life, the more I appreciate his writing.
Kram to you and Mamsen!
